Ideas and Inspiration

    There have been many contributing factors that led to the creation of this children’s book. Living on a  farm located in the Orara Valley, means that we are lucky enough to raise some of our own animals, as well as being surrounded by some of Australia’s amazing native wildlife. My daughter is a primary school teacher and thought it would be great if I could write a kids tune for her class. So I came up with the idea of using our animals and giving them a Train ride with their friends following the river through the Orara Valley on the old steam train. The tune was so catchy that we thought a book and illustrations would bring it all to life. The Train Rail Ride E-book, song and activities are now available for down load from
